The house feels slightly empty

We were hosting two kids for district band on Thursday and Friday and now they are gone. Not that I actually saw much of them. They were either at the school practicing or sleeping. It was fun though and now I have someone other than Julie to talk to on aim. The concert itself was nice. It kind of inspired me to practice more and become a better player. There was a party afterwords that I helpt set up with Alyssa. The music sucked but it was still kinda fun. It was kinda nice to see all of these kids who had never met each other before be able to have fun just because they all shared the same passion for music. I've been told that that's what it feels like at an anime convention.

I went shopping with Alyssa today. It was nice to get out of the house since I litteraly spent the entire day in my basement on the computer with all the lights off. Anyway I bought X v6, Megatokyo V1, the new issue of Newtype, and Inuyasha the movie 2. I don't think I'm going to buy anything else for awhile. I need to start saving if I ever want to get a Nintendo DS. Hmm...I think I'm going to change this layout soon.
